da betsul: Aston Villa attacker Andreas Weimann’s future has been plunged into doubt, after the youngster rejected a new deal from the club, according to reports from The Mirror.
da lvbet: The Austrian starlet has been one of the Villains’ bright sparks in an otherwise disappointing Premier League season so far.
With 18-months left on his current deal, the Midlanders believed that they could wrap up an extension early, but the player has turned down their offer.
Weimann currently earns an estimated £15,000-per-week, but sources claim that he was “disappointed” by the terms put forward by the relegation strugglers.
The 21-year-old is said to be happy at the club, but would prefer to negotiate his future this summer.
In doing this he could open the door for a move, with many clubs likely to be keen to take advantage of the ticking clock on his contract.
Should Villa be relegated he could also maintain a spot in the top tier, with many sides rumoured to have been impressed by the youngster.
Talks are still said to be on-going, and Villa chief Paul Lambert played down the seriousness of the situation:
“We’re still talking at the minute and seeing how it’s gone on.”
Weimann has netted ten goals in all competitions this season.
